I sent my youngest to preschool this month.  He’s 4, and I guess it was inevitable that he would go off into the world one day and learn that I am not always right about everything.  I am sure one day soon, he will correct me with “But Ms. KATHY said…..” when I say something.  And BAM! Mommy is no longer the authority on the world.  Crap.  He did manage to learn one thing useful in his first week.  He came up to “Mom” who is actually “Grandma” but he has called her “Mom” since the beginning.  Guess because Daddy does.  It’s cute.  But, anyway, he came to her and said “F#CK”  she, of course, said “WHAT?@!??!?!”  and he again said “F#CK” then he said for clarification, “It’s what you say when you are mad or mean.” 
  “Where did you learn that?”
       “At school.”
I go to my son and he won’t tell me a thing.  and how do I say “Hey, Kai, did you say F#CK today?”  Cus I don’t want to say that to him….but, obviously Mom’ s lesson on that being a bad word worked, cus he is not talking.
Off,  I go to the school……
“Hi, ummm, Kai went home and told his Grandmother the F word, and said he learned it here.”
  “Oh My Goodness!  That is awful, I will talk to him and see if I can learn more”
“ok, thanks,  we don’t say that word (shhhhh  we do, but not around the kids ) and I just wanted you guys to know someone was saying it.  If you hear Kai say “DAMMIT”, that’s all me, and I apologize in advance.”

 Now, I just have to figure out what to do with my free time.  No kids! What do I do for 4 hours to myself?  Guess I will work some, work out (ugh)and volunteer at the school.  But what I really want to do is sit down and take some classes at Xtrain.com  I am going to take the digital photography class next, there’s a people photography class that looks cool.  They are going to do a digital scrapbooking class soon and I want to be ready.  Oh, and a Pimp my Myspace type of class!  Fun!

This blogging is hard! Writing a blog pretty randomly on myspace might be a little different than trying to maintain this site, but I’ll give it the ol’ college try…well maybe I shouldn’t do that….I did drop out of college after a year and half……..

Think I’ll make a list of things I like and see if I can get anybody to admit they like it, too.

1. Celebrity gossip sites like www.dlisted.com and www.perezhilton.com . It’s a sickness, and I am in desperate need of a 12step program.

2. myspace for keeping in touch with friends. One day I may post a link to that one

3. www.XTrain.com . It’s a great online learning experience that uses studio produced videos to give you a classroom feel in an online setting. I have taken the classes, and  I love that site.

4. Mystery shopping. I shop for www.shopnchek.com and www.gapbuster.com and it’s a nice income. I work very sporatically, cus I like to wait for the bonused shops and get paid a MUCH higer rate.

5. Girl Scouts. I have been a leader for going on 5 years. My daughter is a Junior. It’s fun and the girls are great. I like to think you can be a good leader and not be a dork. I don’t wear a uniform, I promise. Please don’t think I am that freaky leader with the whistle from that great 80s classic “Troop Beverly Hills”

6. Big Brother. I love reality tv, and this season’s BB8 has really got me hooked this year.

I will add to the list later. That list OF COURSE doesn’t include my family and how I love them,because HOPEFULLY you won’t be sharing your love of my husband..but you would if I posted a pic. He’s pretty hot..
